Jaguar will have a rival for the current BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 by the end of this year. The British manufacturer is making the final preparations for the unveiling of its future XE sedan, the car that will follow the line abandoned by the old X-Type.
Until we see the final car, Jaguar is teasing us with a photo of the XE aluminium body, wrapped so that we can not see its shapes. More images will follow soon, as the public debut is expected to take place during Paris Motor Show in autumn.
The new XE sedan will be the first Jaguar model to feature the new four-cylinder turbocharged engines, called Ingenium. The units will be joined by the current 3.0 liter supercharged V6 unit and its versions, already found on the E-Type. This way, the XE Sedan will benefit from 335 hp or 375 hp. The new Jaguar XE will reach showrooms at the begining of next year.
