Even if its just an urban car, the new generation Honda City likes to dress as a sports car. Mugen understands this and unveils the new Mugen City during an event in Phillipines. The sporty version is based on the new generation City and is scheduled to be introduced in showrooms starting this fall. Until then, the public will enjoy the old generation Mugen City, unveiled in October last year.
To better individualise the sporty version, Mugen used a new bodykit that includes larger wheel arches, new front and rear bumpers, replaced side skirts and a new black front grille. To complete the look, Mugen used a lip for the back spoiler and some new 17 inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the roomy cockpit remains almost untouched. But under the hood, Mugen promises new improvements for brakes and suspension.
Last but not least, the Mugen City benefits from a 1.5 liter gasoline engine. The 4-cylinder unit is normally aspirated and promises an amount of 120 hp and 145 Nm. These resources can be sent to the front wheels via a five speed manual or through an optional CVT.
