Land Rover Freelander Metropolis is the name of a new special edition dedicated to the ageing crossover. The new trim level, positioned above the current HSE Lux will be a last attempt to address public before the Freelander will be discontinued to make room for the anticipated Discovery Sport model, set to reach showrooms in 2015.
The Freelander Metropolis will set you of almost 36.000 GBP and will offer in exchange a panoramic roof, Windsor leather seats and a Meridian audio system. The cabin will also receive a glossy black trim, touchscreen satelitte navigation system, and a reversing camera.
The exterior will feature a metallic paint and some 19 inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, Land Rover Freelander will be offered with only one engine, the 2.2 liter SD4 turbodiesel unit, delivering 188 hp.
