Ten years ago, Renault introduced a new strategy, meant to bring more clients to the company. The French manufacturer relaunched the Dacia brand, targeting the low-cost segment of the European market. A segment that almost was nonexistent until then.
After struggling to survive, Dacia launched its first model. It was called Logan and changed the perception of the public about affordable cars. Its starting price was approximately 7000 euros and made the car a real success. Especially when the economic crisis hit also the Old Continent.
Now, ten years after its relaunch and ten years from its first model under the Renault advisory, Dacia is celebrating the Logan with a special edition. It will be called Logan 10 Year Edition and was already teased in Romania.
The version will have a limited production number and will be officially unveiled during a special event, held on Bucharest on June 18th. The event is called Logania Passport and wants you to imagine different journeys with the Romanian sedan.
The car will most likely feature some some new design accessories, “10 years” logo on the outside and also inside the cabin. The standard equipment will be enriched with MediaNav multimedia system, power windows and air conditioning. The production will probably be limited, as the availability in Europe.
