Dacia introduced today its first special version of the Duster SUV. Built with a Romanian coachbuilder, Romturingia, the new Duster pick-up will be produced in a very limited number.
According to Romanian publications, Dacia is sending standard Dusters to be modified by Romturingia. Only 500 units will be made, all scheduled to reach only one fleet cutomer on the local market. Dacia already delivered ten units and expects to finish the rest of the order until summer of 2015.
Based on the facelifted Duster, the pick-up version features the highly acclaimed 1.5 liter dCi unit, delivering 110 hp. This is enough to carry the load behind the cabin. There is a bed with a length of 1.7 meters, that can carry up to 450 kilograms.
The engine will be coupled to an all wheel drive system to facilitate access on difficult terrain.
