Porsche unveiled today the new 2015 Cayenne facelift.
The top of the range SUV, scheduled to make its public debut during Paris Motor Show, receives some modest exterior modifications that include a bigger radiator grille, new front and back bumpers, improved air ducts for cooling, new alloy wheels and new LED lights. There is also Porsche Dynamic Lights System (PDLS), that can permanently adjust the lights.
The most important changes regard the Porsche Cayenne S, which replaces the classic V* with a completely new engine. There is a new 3.6 liter V6 engine, delivering 420 hp and 550 Nm, which is 20 hp and 50 Nm more than the standard version. The new version is more economical and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds when equipped with the Sport Chrono package.
Important modifications also for the Cayenne S E-Hybrid version, that combines the 333 hp of a 3.0 liter V6 with the 95 hp of an electric motor. This makes a total of 416 hp and 590 Nm of torque. It is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 243 km/h. The electric range is estimated between 18 to 36 km. The Porsche cayenne S E-Hybrid can also reach 124 km/h just on electric power.
