2015 Peugeot 308 GT was unveiled today along its more practical brother, the 2015 Peugeot 308 SW GT. The European Car of the year features a sportier version, with two different enfine options, one diesel and one petrol.
On the outside, both 308 GT and 308 SW GT feature a new aggressive design with lion in the grille with three horizontal blades, 62 LED elements in the front headlights, tinted windows, larger wheelarches, GT signature integrated in the grill, the tailgate and the front wheel panels Diamant 18 inch alloy wheels, with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.
The exterior is painted in Magnetic Blue and is sporty enough thanks to lowering the ride height by 7 mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear.
The new 308 GT will be available with two engine options. First will be a 1.6 liter petrol, delivering 205 hp together with a six speed manual and a start stop system. It takes only 7.5 seconds to reach 62 mph and benefits from 285 Nm of torque between 1750 and 4500 rpm. CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, from just 130g/km and 5.6 l/100km (50.4mpg).
On the other hand, the powerful 2.0-litre BlueHDi diesel delivers 180 hp and 400 Nm at 2000 rpm. The car accelerate from 80 to 120 km/h (50-70mph) in 5th gear in just 5.5 seconds. The fuel consumtion is estimated at only 4 liters/100 km, and CO2 emissions reach 103 g/km.
The 2015 Peugeot 308 GT and 308 SW GT will make a public debut in Paris Motor Show, with price to be announced later. Sales will start also in October.
