On the market since 2006, the current Opel Corsa is preparing to be discontinued. His place will be taken by a new generation set to be officially unveiled during Paris Motor Show and teased today with a short movie.
The Russelsheim-based manufacturer will introduce a new generation of the car, that is being tested right now. During this final tests, Opel shot a movie that anticipates the shape of its new car.
The camouflaged prototypes show some design resemblance with the current Opel Adam, which is not a bad thing. The car will be offered as a three and five door version and will be based on a revised platform.
The interior will significantly evolve, featuring a new dashboard, and multimedia system with fewer buttons. The materials will also be improved as the new center console.
The engine range will include some naturally aspirated units, but also the new 1.0 liter engine, already found on the Adam. The 1.6 liter CDTI diesel will also be present under the hood, but with a downgrade. The Opel Corsa OPC will not be discontinued, his launch being scheduled at the end of 2015.
