2015 Mazda CX-3 crossover will be unveiled during this year Los Angeles Motor Show, starting November 21.
The small segment competitor will have to confrunt difficult rivals like the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur in Europe. On the US market there will be the Honda HR-V.
Designed under the same Kodo Soul of Motion philosophy, the Japanese crossover will be more aggressive then its older and bigger brother, the Mazda MX-5. According to Mazda press release, „the essence of KODO – the expression of life within a vehicle – has been evolved to produce a sharper form with an enhanced sense of speed.”
The new CX-3 will ride on a Mazda2 platform, which means it will feature all the engines an components of the small segment hatchback. We will see SkyActiv-D and SkyActiv-G diesel an petrol engines, together with manual or automatic SkyActiv transmissions.
