Lamborghini will offer new variants of the current Huracan starting next year.
The supercar was well received by the public, with 800 request in its first month on the market. Stephan Winkelmann told Autocar that the potetial of the Huracan will be maximized with “lots of derivatives. Customers expect it and we always need something new to talk about.”
This means that we will see a Huracan Spyder sooner than we expect. The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is currently under developent and is expected next year. The car will be an open top of the Huracan, most probably a soft-top solution being preffered.
After the Spyder version, Huracan will receive a rear-wheel drive variant, as the old Gallardo offered. Even Winkelmann says that this is an option that is not rulled out.
Last but not the least, Lamborghini Huracan will have a more lighter derivative, called Superleggera, this also following previous versions of the old Gallardo.
