After a series of sketches, the all new 2015 Kia Sorento is here. The biggest SUV in Kia`s range continues the design philosophy inaugurated by famous designer Peter Schreyer, and comes with the already popular tiger-nose grille, complemented by sweptback headlights.
The lower roofline, higher beltline and rounded shoulders at the rear complement the overall appearance. The evolutionary design is inspired by Kia Cross GT Concept, introduced in 2013 Chicago Motor Show.
The design of the new generation Sorento was created by Kia`s Namyang studio in Korea, with the help of other design studious of the brand, located in Frankfurt, Germany, and Irvine, California.
The 2015 Kia Sorento is 4780 mm long, 1685 mm tall and has a 2780 mm wheelbase, which is 80 mm longer than the previous version. This will contribute to a roomier cabin, for seven people and three seat rows.
2015 Kia Sorento`s interior remains a mystery, although the Korean manufacturer said it will have “numerous innovative features”.
