2015 Jaguar XE, expected to be unveiled on September 8th, is teased once again with some new information about the infotainment system. Called Jaguar InControl, the new system in centered around a 8 inch touch screen and features voice control.
With the help of an iOS or Android smartphone the clients will have the chance to connect to the car from wherever they are and control the XE’s climate control system, the doors locking or unlocking or the engine start.
The same Jaguar InControl system will allow the installation of special apps for conference calls, parking space info or booking a hotel room. The XE will also offer a Wi-Fi Hotspot, enabling the connection of multiple devices.
The 2015 Jaguar XE will become the first vehicle to use a laser head-up display, capable of projecting colour images on the windscreen. It will provide information about the speed and indications from the navigation system.
Jaguar XE will be the first Jaguar manufactured at a new production facility: Solihull plant in the West Midlands, UK.
