2015 Hyundai i20 Coupe is already teased, only hours after we met the new generation i20.
The new three door model will try to look different than its five-door model, appealing to younger clients with the help of a more modern design and more sportier lines, created by the same Hyundai Motor’s Design Centre Europe in Rüsselsheim, the place where the i20 was created.
The front end will addopt a similar bumper, but the profile and the rear end will be those of a proper coupe. Regarded as a range growing model, the i20 Coupe wants to be more than that. It features a more sharply raked roofline, a distinctive roof spoiler, a long hood, pronounced wheel arches and a powerful design. At the back, i20 Coupe features a wrap-around rear window and unique treatment for the lamp clusters.
Being so sporty, the new i20 Coupe might be the first car to feature the N performance badge of Hyundai`s division. In this case, a potential i20 Coupe N could target important hot-hatches like Ford Fiesta ST and Renault Clio RS.
