Bentley unveiled today the all new Continental GT3-R, a limited run that will impress through a diet that sheds 100 kilgrams out of the standard version. The car removes the rear seats, replaces the standard exhaust system with a titanium one and uses 21 inch light alloy wheels with Pirelly tires.
Based on the current GT V8S, the new Bentley Continental GT3-R is more powerful, even if it uses the same bi-turbo V8 4.0 liter petrol engine. With a higher boost and a new ECU, the luxury coupe reaches 580 hp and 700 rpm from the standard 528 hp and 680 Nm. The new GT3-R enjoys all the torque from 1700 rpm and uses an eight speed ZF transmission and an all wheel drive system.
Being significantly easy and with more power under the hood, Bentley Continental GT3-R can reach 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and top speed of 273 km/h.
The car will be produced in just 300 units, all painted Glacier White and all estimated to be very expensive.
