2015 Audi TT Roadster will make its public unveiling during this year Paris Motor Show, addressing all those who want an open op for 2015 summer.
The car will be ready to order in UK starting November, with first deliveries scheduled for spring 2015, just in time for the sunny weather. Prices will start at 31.955 GBP.
Compared to the old TT Roadster, the new generation is 21 mm shorter at 4177 mm, and has a bigger wheelbase by 37 mm. With short overhangs, a width of 1832 mm and 1355 mm higher, the 2015 TT Roadster promises a best-in-class drag coefficient of 0.30.
The design is almost identical with what we already saw on the TT Coupe, with angular lines, LED lights, muscular shoulders and powerful taillights with twin exhausts at the back. The only difference is the soft-top, opened or closed in just 10 seconds, up to speeds of 31 mph. The luggage compartment can offer 280 liters of space, regardless of the soft-top being opened or closed.
The new car is available with power outputs between 184 and 310 hp, the last option for those who choose the TTS version. All meet the Euro 6 standard, and have start-stop system as standard. The most economic engine is a 2.0 TDI that can return up to 65.7 mpg even if it delivers 184 hp.
