Skoda is not going to miss this year Worthersee Festival, a Volkswagen Group fans reunion. This year, the Czech manufacturer will celebrate the success of its Citigo mini, the car based on the same platform with the Volkswagen Up and Seat Mii.
On the ocasion Skoda will unveil the new CitiJet Concept, a convertible version of the Citigo, based on the three door variant. Dressed in a unique blue paint, the convertible CityJet was designed by a group of Skoda apprentices. They also equipped the concept with twin tailpipes, 16 inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler.
The interior features a leather upholstery, a new 300 watt sound system, LED ambient lighting, unique floor mats and red an white dashboard.
Even if it addopts a sporty look, under the hood CityJet uses the same 1.0 liter MPI petrol engine, delivering 75 hp. Mated to a five speed manual transmission, the car can reach 100 km/h in 13.9 seconds and can top a speed of 170 km/h.
