After a series of teasers, Skoda unveils the new CitiJet Concept, ahead of its official unveiling during Worthersee Fetival. The Czech manufacturer offered 16 apprentices the chance of developing a unique car, from scratch. The students worked for six months, since November last year, to finish the concept.
The CitiJet is based on a three doors chopped roof Citigo, customized with blue and white body paint, duel exhaust tailpipes, blue 16 inch alloy wheels and a hand made spoiler. Under the hood there is just a 1.0 liter petrol engine, delivering a modest 75 hp.
The interior is enhanced with red-stitched, leather-lined three-spoke steering wheel as well as the leather cover of the handbrake handle and gear knob: For the seats, Skoda apprentices used a ‘Sport’ material design while the dashboard is painted white/red.
A 300 watt sound system is also fitted and has music-reactive LED lighting.
