Seat decided to attend to this year Worthersee Festival just to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the current Ibiza. To do that properly and to satisfy its fans, the german manufaturer unveiled the new Ibiza Cupster, a concept based on the current Ibiza Cupra.
The exterior impresses with a choped roof and with a “New Orange” paintwork created specifically for it. It is combined with 18 inch alloy wheels and with a interior that will satisfy only the purists.
Based on the Ibiza race cars from the Ibiza Trophy, it has minimalist instruments and black Alcantara upholstery for the cockpit and racing bucket seats. The seats were also repositioned so the driver sits 70 mm closer to the ground.
No important changes under the hood, where we have the same 1.4 liter TSI unit, delivering 180 hp and 250 Nm. Together with a DSG gearbox it allows the Ibiza Cupster to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about seven seconds.
