Bentley will introduce, for the first time in its history, a hybrid model. The important moment will take place at this year Beijing Motor Show, underlining again the importance of Chinese market for Bentley.
The first hybrid Bentley is based on the Mulsanne and its called> Mulsanne Hybrid Concept. The powertrains, developed in Crewe will offer a power increase of 25% together with a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions. The battery pack will also guaranteee a purely electric drving range of 50 kilometers. Which is very good for a car weighing over two tones.

To help differentiate the car from a standard version, the Mulsanne Hybrid Concept uses copper as an exterior and interior styling element, including copper details to the headlamps, radiator shell bezel, brake calipers, feature line details and badges. Copper accents continue in the cabin, with inserts to the hand-crafted veneers fascias, switch bezels and instruments. Copper cross-stitching is also used to the Mulliner Driving Specification diamond-quilted interior.
