2015 Citroen Divine DS Concept was unveiled today through a series of leaked images. Scheduled to make its public appearance during 2014 Paris Motor Show, Citroen Divine DS was created as a sporty compact car that can anticipate the future design of DS range.
The concept is actually based on the current DS4, but abandons the crossover stance, featuring a lower ground clearance and sportier appearance. With an impressive front grille, flanked by LED headlights, a raising beltline, lot of chromed parts and no rear window, the new Divine DS is really an act of courage from French designers.
To compensate the missing rear window, the Divine DS features a rearview camera, projecting images on the rearview mirror.
The cabin was developed together with Swarovski jewelry manufacturer and features four seats, a multifunctional steering wheel and a center console that extends upon the back. To customize the interior and show the numerous materials that can be had inside a DS, Citroen uses high quality leather combined with silk.
Under the hood, Citroen will most probably adopt a petrol engine, delivering 217 hp out of a 1.6 liter unit that drives the front wheels.
