Seat is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Ibiza small car, introduced on the market for the first time in 1984. Since then, the Spanish small car had been sold in 5 million units, reaching many countries and continents.
The all four generations were gathered in Spain on a race track opened in 1923 for hosting the Spanish Grand Prix. All four Seat Ibiza raced on the incline circuit.
“It is amazing to see how the automotive sector has developed. The first Ibiza was a true explosion of design joy”, said Isidre López, head of Seat Historical Cars.
