2015 Ford Focus facelift driving review

10 September 2014

2015 Ford Focus facelift was unveiled this spring, but the first units rolled of the assembly line only a few weeks ago. The first who had the chance of driving the cars were the British journalists, and AutoExpress was among the magazines invited to test the 2015 Focus.

Being impressed by Ford`s new Sync2 system and by improved handling, Matt Prior summarized its experience in the video bellow.

The compact car received the face of the new Fiesta and Mondeo, adopting the trapezoidal front grille, more angular headlights with LED lights included. The bumpers, the taillights and the wheels were also redesigned.

Under the metal, the Blue Oval engineers have improved the handling. Focus benefits from new front dampers, stiffer front and rear bushes, a new electric steering and a recalibrated ESP program.

Upgraded powertrain line-up for Europe includes new 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine and new 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine.
