Land Rover announced Bear Grylls as its new brand ambassador. The man who climbed Mount Everest and led expeditions from Antarctica to the Arctic, signed a long term contract with the British manufacturer.
His first mission as a Land Rover ambassador will be to promote the new Discovery Sport, a model scheduled to be revealed on September 2nd, expected to replace the ageing Freelander. The European debut will take place during this year Paris Motor Show.
On the ocassion, Bear Grylls declared: “I’ve used Land Rover vehicles throughout my life, during my military career, on countless expeditions and then while filming. From deserts and jungles to the highest mountains; they always deliver a rugged reliability that you can always count on when the chips are down in hostile environments.”
Bear Grylls joins Land Rover`s ambassadors hall of fame, together with Ranulph Fiennes and Ben Saunders.
