Audi A9 will be previewed by a new concept during this year Los Anges Motor Show, scheduled to take place in November.
The concept car will be based on the MLB platform, an architecture that is also used by the current A8. the design will be signed by Marc Lichte, the man who also worked on the new generation Passat. Considering its work on the popular German sallon, Lichte might want to try something new with the A9 concept.
The prototype will be a long and sleek four door coupe, measuring over 5 meters in length. As you would probably guess, the body will be all aluminium and the design will be considered as a benchmark for future cars.
Also during the LA Motor Show, Audi will showcase a different digital insument cluster, updated and with a larger TFT screen, which currently measures over 12 inch.
The future Audi A9 is scheduled to be introduced in 2017, his technology being just a step until de next generation A8.
